I've wanted to 'play' with paint sticks for some time... (I suppose there's a face in me somewhere:) but what you have done is breathtaking. I adore your work. Actually, I thought I'd already commented on this post but don't see one - a kind of deja vu!

hi deb,
i had no idea you used shiva oil sticks. they are *nice* - the color is so vivid.
yes, she's ethereal... but grounded also, i think. i love her... she's not on the wall but on the inside cover of the book i'm sticking all of my paintings in now. she's the first thing i see every time i open it, and i feel like she reminds me to be true and real.
